Health food diet
Do you know what a health food diet is? Be it for those anorexic looking models on the television or glossy fashion magazines or the increasing number of thin people we see around us, fad diets have really captured the attention of millions of people across the globe. What would we give to be like Demi Moore or Julia Roberts? Anything! Even our health! Yes, that's right; most people would give anything to be thin and sexy. They can survive on cabbages or chicken or even lemon and water to get that enviable figure!
The result:
1.Slower metabolism: These crash diets do not do much for your metabolism. Your metabolism is your body's fat burning machine. When you go on fad diets, your body thinks that you are starving.
Thehuman body has been programmed to conserve resources during the starvation period since the time of the early man, it holds on to your fat resources for dear life! As result, the muscles of the body are sacrificed instead of the fat cells and your body fat percentage increases.
2.Haggard look: Fad diets make you loose water more than anything else. The initialpounds are nothing but water loss. Losing water means flabby and haggard looking skin. So, fad diet may give you a narrow waist for the time being but does not give you that truly beautiful look!
3.Valuable muscle loss: Do you know that muscles are quite precious to your body. No, you don't have to bea member of
Dragon Door to have muscles although it sure helps. Muscles are the fat burning factory of your body. These muscles burn fat even at rest since, they need to sustain themselves.
When you go on a fad diet, your body eats up your muscle first in order to sustain. This shows as a weight loss. In reality, this is not weight loss, this ismuscle loss. So when you stop dieting, then this weight comes back as fat and not muscle which increases your body fat percentage and cholesterol.

Hence, you need to change your tactics and lose weight in a healthy way by following the
